Chinese underwater acoustic physicist, academician of the CAS Member, doctoral supervisor
He has been engaged in fundamental research on underwater acoustics physics and applications for a long time and has achieved multiple results. He is an excellent academic leader in the field of underwater acoustics with significant international influence in China. As the chief scientist of the Chinese side, he has led four Chinese American and Sino Russian marine scientific expedition fleets to the Pacific Ocean for research. Academician Zhang Renhe actively promotes domestic and international academic exchanges and collaborative research. Formerly served as a member of the International Acoustic Committee and Chairman of the Western Pacific International Acoustic Committee, currently serving as Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Acoustic Society. He has won the Rao Yutai Physics Award, the first prize of Guanghua Science and Technology Fund, the Zhu Kezhen Field Science Work Award, and the He Liang He Li Science and Technology Progress Award.
